Turkish Football says that Liverpool is planning to make an official offer to sign Real Madrid young star Arda Guler this summer.

The 19-year-old moved from Fenerbahce to the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu last summer, but he had trouble with injuries at first. But once he was fully fit again, it was hard for him to play often under Carlo Ancelotti last season.

He did show what he could do, though, whenever he got the chance, hitting six goals in four La Liga starts.

The young player continued to shock everyone at the European Championship with Turkey, where he scored one goal and set up two others in the round of 16 and quarterfinals.

Now, the story says that Guler didn’t play much for Real Madrid last season, and now that Kylian Mbappe is there, he might not play much at all next season either. So, his future at the record European Champions is unclear right now.

Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing the forward and is getting ready to make a formal offer to do so by taking advantage of his present situation.

The player is happy at Real Madrid, though, and the Spanish giants want to keep their star player. Because of this, the Reds will have to work very hard to get him to move to Anfield if they make their desire official.

Guler, who makes about £92,000 a week at Real Madrid, is seen as one of the world’s best young players, and he has recently shown signs of his skills for both his club and his country.
