100% tackles, 83% accurate passes, 33 touches, 11 clearances, 100% wins in the air: Man Utd had to award a new contract to the star worth 65 thousand pounds a week after an excellent performance before Luton

Manchester United beat Luton Town 2-1 at Kenilworth Road on Sunday, giving them their fourth straight Premier League win.

Rasmus Hojlund scored the first goal for the Red Devils after only 37 seconds. In the seventh minute, the Danish player doubled the lead.

In the 14th minute, Carlton Morris scored to cut the lead for Luton. United had many chances to make their lead bigger, but they didn’t take advantage of them.

Still, the team was able to get three points away from home. Evans played a big part after coming on as a half-time replacement.

The 36-year-old took the place of Harry Maguire, who had already been booked. He played brilliantly for 49 minutes and made 11 saves.

The experienced star also won all of his aerial battles and picked off two passes. The Northern Irishman dropped the ball three times but completed 16 of his 19 passes.

Evans should be given a short-term contract at United.

People in the know and fans were very confused when Evans was given a short-term deal.

The club’s inability to sign a big-name central defender made Evans’ return possible, and he has certainly paid back the manager’s faith.

Maguire played badly in the first half at Luton. With a short free kick that went right into Ross Barkley, the Englishman almost gave away the goal.

He had also been booked, so United boss Erik ten Hag replaced him with Evans to be safe. Evans played well defensively for United.

We think that Evans has done more than enough for the club this season to show that he deserves a new deal after this one.

He makes one of the least amounts of money, at £65,000 a week. We think the club should keep him for another year since he’s happy with the amount of time he gets to play.

Evans would add more skill and experience off the bench in case of a sudden illness. It makes sense to keep him with the United team.
