Sascha Tavolieri of RMC Sport says that Mokio has asked the Royal Belgian Football Federation to let him out of his youth deal with Gent. Along with this knowledge, it is said that the Blaugrana are interested in him, and he was at Montjuic last week with his family to watch Barcelona play Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona has also started to talk with his representatives.

Mokio is a Central Defender who plays with his left foot. He has stood out for how good he is with the ball, both when going forward from the back and when passing it. The way Barcelona signs players outside of the first team has gotten better over the last five years. For example, Pedri, Ronald Araujo, Pablo Torre, Faye, and Darvich were all signed as teenagers.
