Mason Greenwood may be leaving Europe entirely, as reports suggest Manchester United may accept an offer from Saudi Arabia that they cannot reject.

Greenwood, who has been on loan at Getafe for the season, appears to be on his way out of United permanently after Getafe president Angel Torres said the Red Devils want to offload him this summer.

Other reports have suggested that a number of Premier League clubs are also eyeing the star which could give the one-time England international a route back into the Champions League.

United haven’t publicly announced they are willing to sell Greenwood despite the slew of reports suggesting they are.

After charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behavior, and assault were dropped six months prior, the 22-year-old joined Getafe in the summer.

Additionally, the Bradford-born winger has made an impression in Spain, leading the league in goals scored and assists given this season with eight.

Due to his efforts, a list of possible suitors has been compiled, including Barcelona, Juventus, and Atletico Madrid, who have all been connected to the star.

However, according to Spanish publication Marca, a Saudi Pro League team has the best chance of signing him over major European teams.

According to their source, Man Utd is demanding an eye-watering £51.7 million in summer, and only Saudi teams would be able to afford it.

Given Barcelona’s current financial predicament, a fee like that would probably exclude them from the race.

However, it’s also rumored that Juventus and Atletico Madrid are hesitant to pay the winger’s hefty fee.

Greenwood is reportedly eager to play for a team that competes for Champions League football, while Saudi teams are unable to provide him with such an opportunity.
