Kylian Mbappe had a great first game for Real Madrid. He scored against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup and won the club’s first title.

The hero, who joined as a free agent this summer after a seven-year, glittering spell with Paris Saint-Germain, ran on to a perfectly timed pass from Jude Bellingham and fired a cool shot into the top corner.

Federico Valverde scored the first goal, and his goal in the 68th minute doubled his new team’s lead. He also won his first cup with Madrid, capping off a great performance.

Mbappe got his first start for the LaLiga giants just a few weeks after signing with Real Madrid. He had just started working with his new teammates. 

After France’s Euro 2024 campaign, the 25-year-old was given a short break. He then went to Madrid’s Valdebebas base to start hard exercise work.

But there were no signs of rustiness in his lively game in Warsaw, Poland, on Wednesday. His game-winning goal capped off a great night.

He even gave his fans an exciting sneak peek at his new relationship with Bellingham. 

The midfielder moved to his normal spot in attacking middle, which was similar to what he did for England at the Euros, and started to link up with Mbappe.

Vinicius Junior made a crazy run and crossed the ball for Bellingham. The England winner then split the defence to find Madrid’s new No. 9, who scored easily. 

During the party, Mbappe and Bellingham then gave each other a warm hug.

In more than one way, the two players worked well together. Mbappe scored on his debut, becoming the first Madrid player to do so since Bellingham in August 2023.

Madrid was also the first team in history to win the Super Cup six times.   

Mbappe sent a chilling message to his foes by saying that there is “no limit” to how many goals he can score in his first season with Madrid.

Movistar asked Mbappe if 50 goals was a reasonable goal. “We’re at Real Madrid, we have no limit, I have no limit,” he said.

“Fifty goals is fifty.” We’re going to win as a team, so the most important thing is to win and get better as a team. 

After that, he said, “Good night.” To play in this shirt with this badge for these people has been on my list for a long time. It’s a wonderful time for me.

It’s important to win trophies; we know that at Madrid we have to win all the time. Of course I’m thrilled that my goal was so important in my first game as a forward, but what’s most important is that it’s fun to play.

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti was full of praise for his star-studded forwards.

Ancelotti told the press, “[Mbappe] has the skills to score a lot of goals.” “As a team, we need to find balance.” We had it today. The back line played really well during the first half, even though our play wasn’t great.

‘We had some trouble in the first half because Atalanta press a lot and play great defence. They won more duels than us in the first half. 

“We had more room up front in the second half.” Of course, Rodrygo, Vinicius, and Mbappe are very scary in space.
