“A Heart for Children”: Toni Kroos to Receive Golden Heart 2024
Toni Kroos will be honored with the “Golden Heart” at the “A Heart for Children” gala on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 8:15 p.m. on ZDF. This award is presented by the BILD aid organization.
Since 2015, the World Cup champion has dedicated himself to supporting seriously ill children through the Toni Kroos Foundation, providing families with prompt and straightforward assistance for fulfilling special wishes or funding necessary therapies and aids. Kroos personally finances the foundation.

During the fundraising event, host Johannes B. Kerner, alongside over 80 celebrities from various fields, will showcase national and international aid projects and accept donations for children in need.
“For millions, this gala is a key part of Advent—a time to reflect on the struggles of others: poverty, illness, war. Children are particularly vulnerable and need our help. ‘Ein Herz für Kinder’ truly makes a difference, and I anticipate many emotional moments,” says Johannes B. Kerner.
The donation hotline will be available from December 2 to December 13, 2024, between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. at 01802 101010, costing six cents per call from any German network. Donations can also be made online at www.ehfk.de or via PayPal at www.paypal.me/einherzfuerkinder. Importantly, every cent donated goes directly to aid without deductions. “Ein Herz für Kinder” is a member of the German Fundraising Council and certified by the DZI donation seal.
Musical performances will feature Calum Scott, Andrea Berg, Roland Kaiser, and Chris Norman, with support from British pop singers.
From 5 p.m., Twenty4Tim will provide exclusive backstage insights during the “Ein Herz für Kinder” show on BILD.de, highlighting the stars on the red carpet.
