According to Defense Central, Eduardo Camavinga, the Real Madrid midfield maestro, is a summer transfer target for Arsenal.
The Gunners are still looking to bolster their engine room a year after spending £105 million to bring Declan Rice into the squad. Kai Havertz was originally brought in to play in midfield, but in recent weeks, he has shown great promise as a center striker.
Arteta still needs to close the gap Xhaka created in the midfield. According to David Ornstein, the manager of Arsenal is still deciding which of the Nos. 6 and No. 8 players to sign. There are plans to sign a top-tier midfield player. 
Arsenal to Camavinga
According to Defense Central, Arsenal has made contact with Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga while the club’s manager considers which midfielder to sign. According to reports, the Gunners believe the Frenchman can prosper in the Premier League, thus they are willing to pay £95 million to recruit him.
It’s interesting that the Gunners are willing to spend so much money on another midfield player just a year after paying £100 million on Rice. However, Camavinga would be a fantastic addition if the North Londoners could make it work.
Carlo Ancelotti claims that the Frenchman is an important part of the European heavyweights, but Camavinga hasn’t yet solidified a starting spot in his first team. If the Frenchman does not start this week against Man City in the Champions League, they think they have a chance to entice him away from the Bernabeu this summer, the insider adds.
Although Camavinga is a versatile player, his best position is left-sided central midfield; nonetheless, when he isn’t playing in midfield, he has occasionally shown valuable at left-back.
He may play as the left-sided No. 8, Declan Rice as the No. 6, and Odegaard as the right-sided No. 8. He might be the obvious replacement to Granit Xhaka at Arsenal.
Madrid has to raise money for their expensive pursuit of Kylian Mbappe, therefore they might be willing to pay in if an offer of £95 million is made. A Rice, Camavinga, and Odegaard midfield may be a tempting combination.
