Travis Kelce is a multi-faceted dude! The Kansas City Chiefs star has worn a variety of facial hairstyles throughout the years, including a full beard, a solitary’stache, and a baby-face bald appearance. Kelce’s constantly changing appearance has drawn so much criticism that he has had to respond to some of it on social media and on the podcast New Heights, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason Kelce.

01. Signature Style

The Chiefs tight end has been rocking facial hair since the earlier years of his NFL career. In 2016, the Cleveland native was pictured with a fade haircut and nicely trimmed beard while on the field.

02. Grown Out

Going into 2017, the gifted player let his beard do the work and kept his hair cropped. The Pro Bowler still looked just as charming with a curly coif on top.

03. Slightly Scruffy

Kelce’s most recognizable look features a full goatee that reaches up to his sideburns and a buzz cut.

04. Shaved & Styled

The NFL star stepped onto the field with squarer whiskers in October 2020.

05. Bare-Faced

Kelce fans went crazy when he shaved off his facial hair the following year. In response to some of his harsher critics, the superstar athlete drew a black beard over his bare face to share online. “#NewProfilePic,” he captioned the edited selfie.

06. El Travador

He once again delivered another surprise look when he debuted a mustache in August 2022. The Super Bowl champion later explained why he maintains a mustache — which he nicknamed El Travador — during training camp specifically: “That’s when I don’t have any paid appearances, or I’m not subject to doing anything where I have to team up with a company and look presentable,” he explained on an episode of New Heights.

07. Taylor’s Thoughts

A few weeks before Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift confirmed their relationship, he and Jason joked about her facial hair opinions on their podcast. Travis was quick to shut down his brother when he asked what Taylor thought about the ‘stache.

“Yeah, we’re not gonna bring up Taylor Swift in this episode,” the younger Kelce brother answered. With a laugh, he added, “But something tells me she’s gonna like it.”

08. Fuzz in the Family

It seems the love for fuzz runs in the family. When their teams faced off in the 2023 Super Bowl, Travis, along with big bro and Philadelphia Eagles star Jason, made a bet that the loser would have to shave their hair and their beard.

While Jason was down to lose his locs, he refused to shave his facial hair. “I don’t like the way my face looks and I’m going to keep my beard,” Jason said during an episode of New Heights.
