Ajax troll Man United with hilarious social media post after former players Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui move to Old Trafford for £60m🤗🤗

Ajax fans were among the winners on social media when they heard that Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui had joined Manchester United.

The two defenders moved from Bayern Munich for £60 million. They were both stars at Ajax a few years ago, when Erik ten Hag was their coach.

The players’ move to Old Trafford completes another deal for ex-Ajax stars. Ten Hag continues to bring in players he worked with in Amsterdam.

Over the past two years, the Dutch manager has brought in five players from Ajax who he used to teach. The first ones were Lisandro Martinez and Antony. The next ones were Andre Onana and De Ligt and Mazraoui, who were bought on Tuesday.

The bond between Ajax and United has been strong over the years, and the Dutch club talked about how they felt about United’s recent transfers. Ajax’s official account wrote on X, “Manchester is red” with a winking face emoji, which was very funny.

Mazraoui also starred under Ten Hag's previous guidance at the Dutch club before he joined Bayern Munich

Fans of Manchester United liked the news and joked that Ajax had become their “feeder club” since players keep coming to England who have played for both teams.

‘We are building a full Ajax XI, do you have any more players for sale?’ was one response to Ajax’s online post.

In the same way, another United fan account made a joke: “Our sister club.” Keep making the gems for us.

Ten Hag is still putting his faith in players and coaches who have played in the Netherlands as he tries to fix the club after a terrible eighth-place finish in the Premier League.

United, on the other hand, may keep up their habit of signing ex-Ajax stars as they press their interest in Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

Ten Hag has been well-backed in the summer transfer market ahead of the new Premier League season

The Catalan club is willing to sell the former Ajax star, who was a big deal under Ten Hag and has been a long-term goal of Ten Hag’s, but the player has chosen to stay in La Liga in the past.
