The things that Jadon Sancho did when he got to Borussia Dortmund made MANCHESTER UNITED fans very angry.
After Erik ten Hag sent the 23-year-old out on loan to PSG for the rest of the season, he has now re-signed with the German giants.
Sancho left Dortmund in 2021 to join Manchester United for £73 million, but he hasn’t been able to get back to his old form since then.
He seems happy to be back in Dortmund’s yellow-and-black color scheme. The club posted videos of him arriving at the practice field on their social media.
But the movies with lots of smiles haven’t made everyone happy. For example, many Manchester United fans are furious about something Sancho did.
The England player was caught on camera wearing Dortmund training gear, and he was seen kissing the badge right after getting back to the club.
Sancho is still on the books at Old Trafford and will return when his loan ends in the summer, which made fans very angry.
“He never kissed the United badge like this,” one fan said.
Someone else said, “What a traitor!”
“Kissing the badge on day one—that’s against the rules!” wrote a third.
A fourth person wrote, “Good riddance.”
When Sancho came back to the club, his old friends were waiting for him with open arms.
He even shared a message of support on social media to show that his old teammate Erling Haaland was happy about the move.
Sancho didn’t wait to get back to playing; he started working with the team right away.
The tricky winger is likely to go to Marbella with the rest of the team for a mid-season training camp. He may then make his start this weekend.
During his previous 137 games for the club, he scored 50 goals and set up 64 others, which is an amazing stat.
The loan player from Manchester United will wear shirt number ten for the team. He picked that number because of his idol Ronaldinho.
In his first interview with the club, the star seemed to poke fun at Erik ten Hag when he told Dortmund fans that he “can’t wait to play football with a smile.”
Sancho’s deal with the Red Devils lasts until 2026, and it is said that his parent club is giving him £100,000 of his £290,000 weekly salary while he is in Germany.
Dortmund will pay United £3 million for the loan, but that amount could go up to £3.4 million if certain conditions are met, such as making starts and qualifying for the Champions League.
