You should not take your eyes off of the Champions League this season.

Barcelona, the five-time winner, was down 2-1 at one point but came back to win this exciting game 3-2 at the Parc des Princes.

By the way, what the heck is a mystery these days? We need a new word for games like these that aren’t scary.

In the 37th minute, Raphinha put Barcelona ahead. But in the next two minutes, PSG had an exciting city of lights to turn things around.

During the first half, the French champs looked really bad.

Then, last night’s opponents’ boss Luis Enrique, who won this competition as part of a treble with those teams in 2015, gave the Parisians new life.

Just three minutes into the second half, Kylian Mbappe chased down a lost ball to keep it alive. He cut it back, and Ousmane Dembele was there to shoot a rocket into the roof of the net.

After only a few minutes, Fabian Ruiz sped forward and set up Vitinha, who shot past Marc-Andre ter Stegen and into the far corner.

It was an amazing comeback after Raphinha, a Brazilian player, put the guests in charge.

Robert Lewandowski broke through the middle of the field and set up Lamine Yamal, who is 16 years old.

Gianluigi Donnarumma blocked his cross, and Raphinha was ready to sweep the loose ball into the goal.

A jumping Parc des Princes thought that PSG was now in charge.

On the hour mark, Pedri came on to play, and two minutes later, he made a great pass forward for Raphinha to score his second goal of the night with a fine shot.

Then Andreas Christensen, another last-minute substitute, stepped in and scored the game-winner in the 77th minute.

Ilkay Gundogan turned the corner, and Christensen’s head poked out of a crowded six-yard box to go home. Wow.

Since April 2015, this was the first time in the Champions League that Barcelona scored three goals away from home. They also scored three against PSG.

That was the last time they won this game too.

There are big teams from Spain there, though, while we think about whether Manchester City will keep it or Arsenal will win it for the first time.

That’s for sure. They were there last night in the Parc des Princes against a French team that has spent millions trying to win this prize but has only come close once.

That was in 2019–20, when Bayern Munich beat them 1-0 in the final.

Maybe they never do well when they need to step up because there aren’t many teams in their own league.

At this point, they are ten points ahead and are on track to win their tenth title in 12 years.
