Antony is allegedly trying to get a loan move away from Manchester United to help his career.

The 24-year-old Brazilian winger has had a terrible time at Old Trafford since he moved there from Ajax for £86 million in 2022.

He has only played one minute of Premier League football so far this season, and Erik ten Hag doesn’t seem to like him at all.

That 24-year-old player has been linked with a move away all summer, with a number of teams said to be interested.

The Sun says that Fenerbahce, whose manager is former United manager Jose Mourinho, has become the favourite to sign Antony.

According to the story, Antony has told United that he wants to leave, and the club is willing to help make a loan deal happen.

Teams in Spain, France, and Saudi Arabia are also said to be interested in the player, as well as his old team Ajax.

Fenerbahce, on the other hand, is seen as the choice since they can still make move this Friday.

Antony is under contract at Old Trafford until 2027 and is thought to be making around £200,000 a week. Because of this, a final move away from the club is likely to have to wait until next summer.

Along with the Mourinho connection, a move to Fenerbahce is even more interesting because he would play with his old United teammate Fred.

These two big teams will also play each other in the Europa League group stage in October.

Antony was signed by United at the request of Ten Hag after playing together at Ajax. He has scored 11 goals in 83 games for United, but only five of those have been in the Premier League. 

The winger is ranked behind Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Amad Diallo. A move to Turkey could be the best way for the 16-times-capped Brazil international to get his career back on track.
