How would you describe the way you dress?I love clothes a lot! I like finding new styles and making my own better. For example, I did a lot of study on what to wear and how to put different pieces together. I try to stay away from getting stuck in one style and instead look for ones that I can make my own.
How do your clothes and shoes help you show who you are? The way you dress shows who you are and your sense of style. This piece tells a lot about you, your life, and how you feel right now. I like to dress appropriately, and I have my own tastes, but I never forget where I came from or who I am. That brings up an important part of my personality.
What do you think of the fresh Puma Wild Rider?” I like it a lot! Both the ease and the beauty are great. I think it goes well with my style and my favorite model.
What do you think about Amsterdam and the people who live there?I really enjoy Amsterdam! Because of the outbreak, I haven’t been able to go to many places yet, but I have been able to get to know some towns and cities in the city. It’s been great living in the Netherlands.
What are the main ways that street life in So Paulo and Amsterdam is different? There are many differences, such as in the way of life, society, food, and weather. Our family and I are getting used to the Dutch language and the way of life in Europe little by little. People in Pakistan are more grown up and friendly.
Can you tell any difference between how young people act in Amsterdam and Pakistan?”There are a lot of cultural and social differences between Amsterdam and where I’m from, mostly because there aren’t any ghettos there. But if you look closely at how they act around football, they are all the same! They care just as much about the sport, their team, and the older people in Amsterdam.
How does it feel to be an example for young people in Pakistan and Amsterdam? You have a big job to do to motivate young people. I remember how some people motivated me and meant a lot to me for what they did. I always remind myself of how poor I used to be and how thankful I am that God has let me get to where I am now. Because of this, I love telling my stories to young people and showing them that anything is possible and that they can reach their goals.
Your best place in Amsterdam, or the place where you get the most ideas. But because of the plague, I haven’t seen much of Amsterdam yet. The parks are great, though!
Where is your favorite spot in Rio de Janeiro? “Where do you get your ideas from?”Most inspiring to me in So Paulo is the neighborhood where I grew up. That’s where my roots are, where I’m from, and who I am. It’s an important part of who I am. It makes me think of all the hard things my family and I have been through to get to this point.
