Real Madrid got a boost before their next La Liga game against Sevilla when both new player Arda Güler and senior David Alaba returned to training. The Turkish player and the Austrian defender had been out with injuries, but they are almost ready to play again. In the case of Güler, it will be his first game with the club.

Güler hurt his knee during preseason when he was stretching before moving to Real Madrid from Fenerbache this summer. After getting back on track after that injury, he hurt his thigh in late September and couldn’t play for another month. He had been working alone inside and outside of the facilities, but on Thursday, he did some of the training with his friends.
Alaba, on the other hand, stayed behind during the international break to heal from his injury. On Thursday, he also practiced by himself. He should be ready for the next game, which is on October 21 at 6:30 p.m. CET at the Sánchez-Pizjuán against Sevilla.The other players Carlo Ancelotti could use worked out at Real Madrid City with Castilla, the club’s backup team.
