Late on Sunday night, news came out about Aurélien Tchouaméni, a star player for Real Madrid.
Fans of Real Madrid were already worried about the France international a short time ago.
While Tchouaméni was out, Carlo Ancelotti’s team went to Rayo Vallecano for a La Liga game this evening and gave him another start.
Because of the ongoing problems in the club’s back line, the former Monaco star was asked to play in the middle of the defense again.
To his credit, Tchouaméni looked right at home in the part again, even though his team had to settle for a disappointing draw at the Estadio de Vallecas.
To that end, hearing that Real’s in-form player was having trouble with what might be an injury must have been scary for everyone connected with the club.
Tchouaméni was seen leaving Vallecas with a big limp, which made people worry that he would have to sit out for a while.
With Eduardo Camavinga out for a while and Jude Bellingham and Antonio Rüdiger both in the hospital, that would be a big blow for Ancelotti and his team before their game against Sevilla next weekend.
So, hearing that Tchouaméni is fine will be a huge relief.
Real Madrid sources have told Guillermo Rai of The Athletic that the 24-year-old is “in principle, OK.”
At this point, Tchouaméni was thought to be feeling the effects of a “stomp” on his foot.
