Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal of the season right away for Al-Nassr. He had already scored against Al-Taawoun in the semi-final of the Saudi Super Cup.

And after a disappointing Euro 2024 effort with Portugal this summer, the superstar went back to playing for his club on Wednesday night and had an amazing game, scoring a goal and setting up another.

The 39-year-old veteran was right in the middle of the action early on and set up Ayman Yahya for the game’s first goal in the eighth minute.

Then Ronaldo made sure he got off to a good start by finishing off Yahya’s good work down the right side of the pitch just before the hour mark.

The left passed the ball to Sultan Al-Ghannam, who squished in a cross from the byline and set up Ronaldo, who scored with ease.

He then rolled away to celebrate with his teammates in a big way.

Ferdinand said on X, “I can’t say too much, but I’ve been working with Cristiano behind the scenes, and he can play for as long as he wants.” 

“He’s not going anywhere, and I’m shocked. Listen, you’ll get it in the end.” But I think he plays for at least three years again.
