Some attendees at the event didn’t dress as nicely as Lionel Messi and Aitana Bonmati, who won the respective Ballon d’Ors on Monday.

Although football players aren’t exactly recognized for their stylish looks, you would think that the attire for a black tie event like the Ballon d’Or would be quite similar.
That isn’t always the case, though. Jude Bellingham has been the life of the party in Madrid, but maybe he should mix in some runway training with all the shooting exercises.
Vinicius Jr., who was also in Paris for the awards, looked equally dapper in his crimson silk blazer. But at least Bellingham and Vinicius Jr.—looking at you, IShowSpeed—were donning bow ties.
Nevertheless, Djibril Cisse was not wearing a shirt, although Speed was. Wearing a white blazer, white pants, and brilliant blue hair, Cisse looked stunning as she arrived at the event.
Without further ado, Daily Star Sport examines some of the most outrageous outfit selections from the 2023 Ballon d’Or.
Jude Bellingham
The Raymond Kopa Award for greatest young player in the globe went to Jude Bellingham. He does receive bonus points for the double-breasted blazer, albeit it’s fortunate he didn’t trip over the steps while wearing those pants.
Vinicius Jr
With his crimson satin blazer, Vinicius Jr. definitely stood out from the crowd; at least someone had reminded him to match his belt and shoes.
Kylian Mbappe
Kylian Mbappe, you are not a grey person. Let’s hope that Mbappe, who placed third in the Ballon d’Or, doesn’t join a side that wears gray if he decides to leave PSG in the summer.
Djibril Cisse
It’s just so far out there, it’s almost perfect. Djibril Cisse might have got his calendar mixed up – Paris fashion week was earlier this month.
