Within eight minutes, Raphinha hit Diogo Costa in the hands. Barcelona had the ball most of the time and looked lively in attack, but Porto was dangerous on the break in an exciting first 25 minutes.

Midway through the first half, Mehdi Taremi thought he had scored with a beautiful back-heel, but the offside flag was quickly raised, and a quick VAR check confirmed what the referee had seen.

Porto started to make more chances after Inaki Pena made two good saves from Galeno, but Barcelona didn’t listen and winger Pepe scored from close range to put the visitors ahead.

Thankfully, Cancelo replied almost right away. Soon after the half-hour mark, the full-back, who was playing on the left, cut inside and sent a spinning shot high into the bottom corner to tie the game.

Felix had been having trouble scoring lately, as shown by the fact that he hit the bar soon after. Then Raphinha hit the bar after Costa’s poor clearance almost gave Barcelona the go-ahead goal.
