Reports say that Barcelona is thinking about a surprise move for Neymar.

The Brazilian could rock the club’s fans by coming back seven years after leaving.

But Barcelona’s chase depends on them not being able to sign a Premier League star.

He spent four years in Spain before being sold to Paris Saint-Germain for a world record £198 million in 2017.

He played 186 times for Barcelona during that time and scored 105 goals and set up 76 others.

Along with nine league wins and the Champions League, he won nine trophies with the club.

Sport says that Neymar could now come back to the Nou Camp next summer.

They might try to sign the 32-year-old if they can’t get Erling Haaland first, according to the story.

It is thought that Haaland will be their main goal for a player in the summer of 2025.

Neymar is still wanted, though, since his deal with Al-Hilal ends at the end of the season.

Club head Joan Laporta wants to give him another chance, but Flamengo from Brazil is also interested.

Laporta may have better chances of making a deal because he knows Neymar’s agent, Pini Zahavi.

Barcelona will also benefit from his desire to play in the 2026 World Cup and the chance to play high-level football again.

Neymar signed a £314 million, two-year deal to play for Al-Hilal last summer.

He only played five games for the Saudi Pro League team before he tore his anterior cruciate ligament two months later.

Neymar just started training again after missing a year because of the injury. He could play again at the end of this month.
