According to a story from the Spanish news site Fichajes, Barcelona is interested in Isco. Leading La Liga teams are looking for midfielders ahead of the summer transfer window in 2024. Because of this, they are now interested in the former Real Madrid playmaker.
After leaving Real Madrid as a free agent, Isco had a terrible season in 2022–23. The Spanish player had a lot of success at the Santiago BernaÁeu, even though he was never a first-choice starting for Real Madrid. He won La Liga and the UEFA Champions League several times. But his time with Real Madrid was over when his contract ran out last year.
The 31-year-old player moved to Sevilla as a Bosman deal and had some good times at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium at first. But Isco’s time at the Andalusian club was cut short by problems behind the scenes, and his contract was ended in December 2022. Following that, the player didn’t have a club until this summer, when Real Betis signed him for free.
