La Liga champions Barcelona are said to be monitoring the progress of the 19-year-old Brazilian player when approaching Savinlanho.

  

According to a report by Spanish newspaper SPORT, Saviho is a subject of interest from Barcelona. Deco is monitoring the 19-year-old attacker’s progress at fellow Catalan club Girona. But Blaugrana will have difficulty recruiting young players from the City Football Group.

Savio Moreira de Oliveira, aka Saviho, spent most of his adult life in his hometown before graduating from the Atletico Mineiro Academy a few years ago. But his time in Brazil ended last year, when City Football Group recruited him and assigned him to Troyes.

However, the 19-year-old is yet to make his debut for the French side after spending last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven. Another temporary move beckoned last summer, with Girona securing the services of Saviho. And the Brazilian’s attacking sensation has been successful at the Catalan club.

The teenage sensation has been a regular for Girona so far this term, registering four goals and four assists in 12 appearances. Meanwhile, Saviho’s progress has not gone unnoticed, attracting the attention of several famous clubs, including Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur. He is also a target of Barcelona.

The Catalan giants continuously scour the market to find the world’s most promising young talents. Such prospects have helped them sign current first-team stars such as Pedri and Gavi, among others. Meanwhile, a youth revolution is taking place at FC Barcelona under Xavi Hernandez, with Lamine Yamal as its flag bearer.

However, amid the uncertainty surrounding Ferran Torres’ future, Barcelona could do with a young winger. Therefore, Saviho is a possible target for the Blaugrana. But signing the 19-year-old Brazilian attacker will be a difficult task as he is a member of the City Football Group.

Additionally, the youngster confirmed that he wants to play for Manchester City one day. It must be admitted that Saviho is very confident of winning the treble in the future. So, Barcelona may not be successful in signing the 19-year-old Brazilian winger away from Troyes after his loan spell at Girona ends.
