In this way, the Catalan club has been tied with a number of players from South America and Europe. Based on Mundo Deportivo, the newest player on this list of young players that Barcelona is interested in is Desire Doue, an 18-year-old winger from Ligue 1 who plays for Rennes right now.

This season, the young player has been playing very well for the French team. Along with Barcelona, big teams in Europe like Manchester United, Arsenal, Napoli, Borussia Dortmund, and Atletico Madrid are also interested in him.

It won’t be easy to get him from Rennes, though, because he’s worth €20 million and has a deal until 2026. In his second season with Rennes, the player has made up to 40 starts and has scored 4 goals and set up 5 others.

Because of these great achievements, Ligue 1 officials have named him as one of five candidates for the best young player in the league this season. The other four are Rayan Cherki, Leny Yoro, Warren Zaire-Emery, and Eliesse Ben Seghir.
