Barcelona will try to sign Mason Greenwood this summer, but they will have to fight hard to get him.

Greenwood has had a great start to his career at Marseille. He has scored five goals in six games for the French team.

So far, scouts from the Nou Camp have seen four of Greenwood’s games.

SunSport has learnt that they are ready to offer up to £60 million for the former Manchester United star, who they were interested in last season.

Barcelona knows Greenwood can play in La Liga because he did well there while on loan for Getafe last season. 

They now want to get the 22-year-old player as soon as possible this summer.

But Greenwood’s strong start to the season has also caught the attention of Paris Saint-Germain, who need to add more punch.

They have also sent scouts to watch the former England player and would have no trouble competing with Barcelona if a bidding war broke out.

Greenwood has quickly made friends in France, so sources say he would be open to the idea of staying there for a long time.

“He loves France,” a person said. Everyone has been very nice to him, and he loves living in the league.

Reports from a few days ago said that Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich were also interested in the player. 

It is thought that neither club sent a scout to watch him this season. 

But Greenwood is quickly becoming one of Europe’s most sought-after players.

He is doing well in France at the same time that his old team, Manchester United, is having a rough time.
