After Erik ten Hag kept Sancho out of the first team in September, United are ready to sell him in the next window.
Ten Hag criticized Sancho in public after United lost 3-1 to Arsenal, saying that the player was kicked off the team because he wasn’t putting in enough effort in training.
Ten Hag got a quick reaction from Sancho on social media. He said that the United manager was using him as a “scapegoat” for the team’s loss to Mikel Arteta’s team.
United’s £73 million signing from Borussia Dortmund has been told to train away from the first team, and it looks like he won’t be playing for them anymore as long as Ten Hag is in charge.
This week in Spain, it was said that United had offered Sancho to Barcelona in return for Raphinha, who would go to Old Trafford.
Rumor has it, though, that Barcelona has “ruled out” the idea of getting Sancho because they don’t want to sign the United winger.
The news source also says that Raphinha is “untouchable” in January and that the club would only sell the Brazil international next summer if they got a big fee for him.
Raphinha moved from Leeds United to Barcelona for £55 million last year. In 65 games for the Spanish winners, he has scored 12 goals and set up 17 others.
