Manchester United is said to have made an offer for Ben Chilwell.
This week, the full-back for Chelsea was told that Enzo Maresca does not want him to play.
Chilwell has even had to train away from the first team, along with Raheem Sterling and a few other well-known players.
TalkSPORT says that United has now been given the chance to sign the 27-year-old.
The Red Devils were linked with a move for Chilwell earlier this summer because they are still having trouble with their left-backs.
Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia are both out with injuries right now. Because of this, Erik ten Hag had to put Diogo Dalot on the left side of his defense against Fulham on Friday.
It is thought that Chelsea will not stop Chilwell from getting the job if the right offer comes in.
The player is also said to be looking at his transfer choices since he wasn’t on the team for the first game of the season.
Instead, Marc Cucurella was picked for the loss to Manchester City on Sunday because Maresca said Chilwell doesn’t fit with the way he plays.
In his pre-game news conference on Wednesday, he went even further by giving a harsh update on the situation with his team.
“They are training apart,” Maresca told the press. As I already said, everything is clear, and there are no new developments.
“They play for Chelsea until they don’t.” But I can’t give each of them a minute.
“Those who want minutes, are better off to leave.”
Once more, Chilwell will not play on Thursday when the Blues play Servette in the Conference League.
The former Leicester fullback signed a new deal with Chelsea that took him through 2027. He joined the team in 2020.
He has played 106 times for the club in West London and has scored nine goals and set up twelve others.
But knee and hamstring problems kept Chilwell from playing in all 13 league games last season.
