Manchester United got some good news about their health before their FA Cup match against Wigan Athletic.
It was upsetting for Manchester United to lose 2-1 to Nottingham Forest. Striker Rasmus Hojlund was sick and couldn’t play in that game.
Just before the game, Hojlund scored his first Premier League goal since moving from Atalanta for £64 million.
Now that he is fit again, he has a chance to score his first FA Cup goal.
Holland goes back to training.
This week, Rasmus Hojlund returned to full training at Manchester United. The Dane is likely to start the game.
Since it’s been more than a week since the last game and another week until the next one, we expect Erik ten Hag to pick a strong team. They want to make it to the next round of the FA Cup.
Now that he has scored his first league goal for the club, Hojlund will also be eager to get going.
Hojlund met with Ineos
It was seen that Rasmus Hojlund shook hands with Sir Dave Brailsford this week while investors from Ineos were touring Carrington.
Rich man Sir Jim Ratcliffe was also there. He met the Manchester United star with a big smile.
Hojlund, 20, is the kind of smart purchase that Ineos might like. He is a young player with a lot of promise whose trade value has already gone up.
On Christmas Day, he scored the game-winning goal for Manchester United against Aston Villa in front of Brailsford. Fans want him to build on this and add to his six goals so far this season.
