A gardener in the Black Country has paid the greatest homage to Jude Bellingham. Bryn Nicholls, an especially devoted follower of England’s football hero, has gone above and above by creating a miniature version of the player’s number 10 shirt in his own garden.

The 66-year-old, who lives in Stourbridge, where Jude was born and raised, brought patriotic lawn art to life. Image

The retired postman spent hours upon hours painstakingly painting his front lawn in the colours of red, white, and blue to create a picture of the England shirt.

“It took me a while to emulsion the grass, but the effort paid off,” he joked. Jude Bellingham is a local boy, having grown up in this area. We all hope he can help England win the Euros and are incredibly proud of him.

“A large number of people always come and take pictures. Without a doubt, I believe England can defeat the Netherlands before facing the Spanish on Sunday. Bellingham is one of our best players, and we are a formidable team. They have everyone cheering them on.”

Bryn, a three-time grandfather, utilises his lawn as a platform for a range of national gatherings. For example, in commemoration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, he turned his green space into an enormous Union Jack flag with a crown in the centre.

In addition, he painted the renowned rings to honour London’s 2012 hosting of the Olympic Games.
