Florian Plettenberg, a reporter for Sky Germany, said that both of them were shot at Munich Airport.

It’s likely that they share a private jet since De Ligt told a reporter, “Noussair is waiting for me!” when he got there.

After weeks of talks, United finally sealed the double deal with Bayern Munich on Saturday. The fee for both of them is €60 million, which is £51.3 million, plus bonuses of up to €10 million, which is £8.56 million.

It looks like a great business deal for co-owners Ineos.

Based on transfermarkt.com, Mazaraoui is being bought for half of the €30 million that the market value of him is, and De Ligt is being bought for less than two-thirds of that.

Along with that, Bayern has decided to pay both players over three years, so the total cost for 2024–25 will only be £20 million.

As long as both medicals go well and all personal terms are agreed upon, both deals could happen today.

After that, United will have to get work permits for both players. If everything goes as planned, they could play against Fulham in Friday’s Premier League start.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is leaving Old Trafford, and his deal to play for West Ham should also be finalised today. This will make room for Mazraoui.

Maraoui is set to join United in a deal worth an initial £13m, with a potential £4m in add-ons

His fee will be £15 million, which is more than Mazraoui’s. This year, Ineos’s net spend on today’s outs and ins is only £5 million, which is great business.
