BRIGHT VISUAL: Man Utd legend David Beckham’s new Bodywear collection for H&M proves he can even make gray tracksuits look desirable

H&M has just unveiled images of their newest partnership with David Beckham, which may have been intended as a pre-Valentine’s Day gift. This time, the former football player and all-around gorgeous person is embracing the athleisure trend. His Bodywear collection, which includes cozy sportswear staples like hoodies and jogging bottoms, will debut on February 4th at the Swedish shop.

Few people can look put together in grey marl tracksuit bottoms and a beige sweater without appearing to be taking a sick day. Beckham, though, can. Additionally, after his most recent H&M underwear commercial, Becks is credited with a 28% increase in sales of men’s underwear, so maybe you will soon find your significant other kicking back in trackie bums.

If that is the case, take comfort in the fact that Becks actually walks around his London estate wearing this attire. “My Bodywear for H&M needs to be genuine in every way. “It does not belong in the collection if I would not wear it,” said the forty-year-old, who made their H&M debut with a line of briefs four years ago.

“I always strive to add new elements to the Bodywear collection, such as timeless pieces like track pants and sweaters that I would wear at home or out.”

Perhaps it was wife Victoria’s own grey tracksuit set which inspired the father-of-four’s latest offering (seriously, we saw it with our own eyes).

So, if you’re team Beckham over Gandy, get yourself the next best thing this Valentine’s Day: Beckham’s bottoms. So to speak.
