Fans of Manchester United are worried about Bruno Fernandes’s health after he limps off during Ruben Amorim’s 4-0 win over Everton.
United has a big trip to the Emirates in three days, so this bad news comes at a bad time.
Before he was taken off in the 66th minute, Fernandes set up two goals scored by Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee, one right after halftime and the other after.
Alejandro Garnacho came on for the Portugal player, and United moved into the top half of the table for the first time in months.
But the only thing that might have worried United before their trip to second-placed Arsenal on Wednesday was seeing their best playmaker in pain.
It was seen that Fernandes had an ice pack on his ankle after being replaced.
The captain joined his teammates on the field after the game to thank the Old Trafford fans who had come to see Amorim’s first Premier League game.
To be safe, it’s possible, but United had already scored FOUR goals by the time he and Casemiro left the field.
But United fans are worried about whether he will be available before their three-day trip to North London.
“Bruno Fernandes off injured,” one person wrote. This is the best luck Arsenal has ever had.
“So what happens if Bruno gets hurt?” asked someone else.
“Just when Fernandes starts to find some form,” said a third. I hope he can make it to the Arsenal game “
But some people were more positive.
“Bruno never misses a game,” wrote one. He’ll be there during the week .”
“Surely he’d be in the medical room if it was that bad,” asked a third.
After getting his fifth yellow card of the season, Kobbie Mainoo will not be able to play when United go to Arsenal.
In the 49th minute, the England star pulled down Dwight McNeil just outside the United 18-yard box. They were both sent off.
It was Mainoo’s first start under Amorim. He had come on as a replacement against Ipswich Town and Bodo/Glimt but didn’t play.
The same thing is true for Lisandro Martinez, who will not play against Mikel Arteta’s back-to-form men.
Two minutes later, Martinez got a yellow card for pulling back Everton star Beto as he tried to get on the end of a through ball.
At the same time, United fans were upset about the higher ticket prices and called co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
The price of a ticket to a Red Devils game at Old Trafford has gone up to an unbelievable £66.
Since fans outside of Anfield held their own protests before Man City’s game on Sunday, they also got rid of discounts for kids and seniors.
