Carlo Ancelotti is said to have “given up” on Vinicius Jr., a star player for Real Madrid, because the Brazilian isn’t disciplined enough and other players want to play against him.
Vinicius has become one of the best players in the world thanks in large part to the Madrid boss. Last season, Madrid won both the Champions League and LaLiga, and Vinicius is one of the favourites to win the Ballon d’Or this year.
Ancelotti is trying to lead a team of celebrities that got even bigger when Kylian Mbappe joined in the summer. Vinicius Jr. is one of the team’s biggest stars, just like Mbappe.
The Brazilian started the season very well, scoring three goals and setting up six others across all tournaments. However, his behaviour in the locker room and on the field has become a source of frustration.
Vinicius has been one of the club’s most-booked players this season, with three yellow cards in seven LaLiga games. According to SPORT, Ancelotti met with the winger for talks that didn’t go very far.
Madrid’s manager tried to help his defender but “deaf ears” his words. Some of Vinicius Jnr.’s teammates are also said to be getting tired of his bad behavior.
“We need to get used to the new rules.” We need to stay away from the riots and other things like that. It’s not fair or unfair. Ancelotti had said before, “We have to adapt to it and that’s it.”
While this was going on, Vinicius kept speaking out against racism in the Spanish top flight, where he was the target of horrible abuse. He finally spoke out after a fan was given a 12-month prison sentence on Thursday.
The supporter for Mallorca had yelled racist things at Vinicius during Madrid’s game against the Spanish minnows in February, and other times like that happened to the star during his time in the city.
Vinicius Jr. responded to the news on social media after Real Madrid released a statement. He used two emojis to show his mood: one was a kiss emoji, which means “thank you,” and the other was a hands-together emoji.
It was also found that the person who was found guilty yelled racist things at Samu Chukwueze, a former Villarreal player, during Mallorca’s LaLiga win at home on February 18.
The accused was given a lighter term as long as they apologised and wrote a letter to Vinicius Jr., which, according to Real Madrid, showed they were sorry.
They have also taken part in or are going to take part in a program for fair treatment and non-discrimination.
