DAVID DE GEA had a laugh with Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes about a player they used to play with.

The goalkeeper hasn’t had a job since the summer of 2017, when his 12-year contract at Old Trafford ended.

De Gea hung out with his old friend Fernandes when he got back to Manchester.

They sat with their arms crossed for pictures, and then the Spanish player put his arm around the Red Devils leader.

In a social media post, De Gea put the pictures with the title “Dumb and Dumber.”

Fernandes then said something funny: “Is missing the biggest, dumbest Juan Mata.”

When he was called out, the former Chelsea and Manchester United player joined in the fun by sending back a GIF from the movie Dumb and Dumber.

De Gea has been linked with a return to football. Reports say that teams from Barcelona, Nottingham Forest, and Saudi Arabia have all made him offers.

But none of these moves have happened yet, and the 33-year-old player is still a free agent.

De Gea has been having a great time off from football. He is on vacation with his wife, singer Edurne, 38, and their 3-year-old daughter Yanay.

He has also hung out with some of his old Manchester United teammates.

De Gea had dinner with Fernandes, Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, and Tom Heaton back in October.

Mata, who is 35 years old, is also a free agent after leaving Vissel Kobe in Japan at the start of the year.
