Chelsea is looking into a deal to sign Jadon Sancho, a winger for Manchester United. The Blues are likely to compete with Juventus for his signing.

Sancho went with United to Brighton on Saturday for their second Premier League game of the season, but he wasn’t in the team when they lost 2-1 to the Seagulls.

Even though Man United manager Erik ten Hag ‘drew a line’ under the fight that got Sancho sent off and moved to Borussia Dortmund last season, there are still questions about his future at the club.

Juventus was thinking about getting Sancho on loan, but they might have had to pay £40 million to buy the winger after the loan ended.

To sign Sancho, Chelsea is also in the running, and the Blues are looking into a possible deal.

Mail Sport gets it. United thinks that Sancho’s talks with Juventus are further along than those with Chelsea.

It is thought that Chelsea needs to get rid of up to six players before they can make a deal. The club is still looking for a striker this summer.

The Blues are willing to let a player go to United as part of a possible deal for Sancho.

Raheem Sterling, the England international who has lost favor at Stamford Bridge, could be one of the stars offered in an exchange deal. 

Some players from the first team have been sent to a “bomb squad” by head coach Enzo Maresca. Sterling and Ben Chilwell are two of the most important players who have been sent there.

This week, Maresca said that because Chelsea has so many players, it was “impossible” to give them minutes. 

“They are training apart,” Maresca said on Wednesday. They are Sterling and Chilwell.

We have a big team, so it’s not possible to play all of them. You should tell them to leave if they want to get some minutes. 

They have a deal with Chelsea, so if they don’t leave, they will stay.

If the deal goes through, Sancho would give Chelsea a lot of attacking choices.

Maresca’s team lined up behind striker Nicolas Jackson to start their 6-2 win over Wolves on the road on Sunday. Mykhailo Mudryk, Cole Palmer, and Noni Madueke were behind him.
