Argentina looked like they were in charge of the game. In the 22nd minute, Julian Alvarez scored a goal that put his team ahead. Rodrigo de Paul helped him do it. At the break, Argentina has a 1-0 lead over Canada.

Before the long whistle, there were no more goals made, and Argentina won 2-0. The team led by Lionel Scaloni made it to the final, where they will play the winner of Uruguay’s second semifinal match against Colombia.

Emiliano Martinez (8.5/10): stayed as the first choice under the crossbar and made a number of important saves, especially in the second half.

 Gonzalo Montiel (6.5/10) did a great job as a right back.

Cristian Romero (7/10), who played in the middle of the defence, made a lot of important saves.

 In the back line, Lisandro Martinez (7/10) also looked strong.

 Nicolas Tagliafico (7/10): He plays left back and looks strong. He sometimes helps Albiceleste with their attacks.

 Angel Dimaria (6.5/10): He was given the chance to start over and did a great job.

 Rodrigo de Paul (7.5/10) played a big part in the middle of the pitch and set up one goal.

 Enzo Fernandez (7.5/10): His play was thought to be below average before, but he was able to repay Lionel Scaloni’s faith by setting up Lionel Messi for a goal.

 6/10 for Alexis Mac Allister: The way it looks is pretty normal.

Lionel Messi (8/10): He was the best player again and gave his team a bigger lead in the 51st minute.

 From 8 to 10, Julian Alvarez scored the first goal for his team in the 22nd minute.

 Nicolas Otamendi (6.5/10) came on for Nicolas Tagliafico in the 64th minute and played well for the rest of the game.
