Continuing the tradition of speed, PUMA has teamed up with BMW again, this time for a limited edition BMW MMS Ultra SL. Antony, a Brazilian winger for Manchester United, will wear these shoes in upcoming games.
Back in 2014, PUMA collaborated with BMW on a special edition evoSPEED. At the time, it was the latest in a long line of boots that included collaborations with Ducati and Ferrari. Now we’re in the present day, and PUMA and BMW are back together for the limited edition BMW MMS Ultra SL. This is the latest collaboration between the brand and a high-performance sports car, following releases with Porsche, Mercedes, and Rimac.
The limited-edition BMW MMS Ultra SL boot is based on race cars made by BMW M Motorsport. It has high-performance materials, bold graphics, and famous co-branding. After looking inside, we see that the high-performance ULTRAWEAVE top material keeps the weight low. It’s also made with at least 30% recycled materials as a step towards a better future. The ultra-lightweight PEBAX material heel, on the other hand, is mixed with DNA from running spikes to speed up the process.
The “Puma White/Fiery Red/Strong Blue” colorway is a nod to the car company’s colors, with a white base that holds the blues and reds, and their famous logo, which looks like a propeller, is placed clearly on the forefoot.
Antony, who plays for Manchester United, will put on the BMW MMS Ultra SL when he gets back to playing in a few weeks.
