Cristiano Ronaldo Admits He’ll ‘Probably Be a Little Lost’ After Retirement—Reveals the TWO Things He’ll Miss Most About Football!

Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up on the future and revealed what he will miss in football when he retires.

Ronaldo, 39, is one of the greatest footballers to ever play the game, with the Portuguese superstar having scored 901 career goals.

The forward has represented the likes of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, while he has also netted 132 goals in 214 caps for Portugal.

Ronaldo – who has also won five Ballon d’Ors – now plays for Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr where he has added 62 goals and 17 assists in just 69 games.

However, speaking on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, Ronaldo admitted that he realised his career was entering its twilight phase and opened up on what he will yearn for once he retires.

Speaking to the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, he said he will miss two things in particular

In an interview with Rio Ferdinand Presents, he mentioned that there are two things in particular that he will miss.

He remarked, “I’m going to miss the rush of adrenaline that comes from scoring a goal and (the) nervousness.”

“I believe I will miss that because there is another part of me that has control over that.” I’m surrounded by good people, I do excellent business, and I have wonderful goods.

However, I shall miss the fact that football’s rush will never come again. This is the reason I’m not stopping at football.

“I give everything; it doesn’t matter if I’m 40 or 41.” I have given my body to football for 25 years, and I am unable to give it anymore due to age.

Ronaldo has already won 33 trophies in his career and, in spite of his advanced age, shows no signs of slowing down.

The 39-year-old argued that he still had a lot to offer the game, despite a dismal Euro 2024 campaign in which he failed to score for Portugal and drew a lot of criticism.

Despite being 39, Ronaldo said he has plenty to give the sport over the next two to three years

Ronaldo stated that he still has a lot to offer the sport over the next two to three years, despite his age of 39.

For this reason, I continue to work, extend myself, and take care of myself.

“Because I know I can still produce something good for two or three more years,” he continued.

But I don’t even want to consider things after that. Allow me to reflect now while I get other sections ready, including my business area.

“I will be a little lost and I will miss it.”
