Then, the AC Milan star made a pinpoint delivery that was just asking to be poked home, which ‘CR7’ did. He then wheeled off in celebration, probably knowing what he had just done.

Croatia scored a goal to tie the game, but Diogo Dalot of Man United scored an own goal, which gave Portugal the win 2-1. This Nations League match will be remembered for another historic moment given by the Portuguese legend.

Transfermarkt says Ronaldo scored his first goal for Sporting Lisbon in a league match against Moreirense on October 7, 2002, after going on a single run.

But even a man with his level of confidence could not have known that 22 years later he would still be scoring and have passed 900 hits.

The forward has scored 130 goals for his country alone, which is pretty amazing. He scored his first goal in a 2-1 loss to Greece in the Euro 2004 group rounds.

During his nine-year career with Real Madrid, he scored 450 goals in 438 games, which is more than one goal per game.

Before that, from 2003 to 2009, he got 145 goals in 346 games for Manchester United.

Ronaldo scored more than 100 goals for Juventus, even though he has only been there for three years.

He hasn’t even played most of his career as a striker.

The football legend has scored most of his crazy number of goals from the left wing, where he has scored 362 times.

He has also scored 285 goals from centre forward and 83 goals from the right side. 

Ronaldo’s favourite competition is La Liga, where he has scored 311 goals in 292 games. However, his 140 goals in the Champions League are probably the most impressive and will never be topped.

We don’t know if the legend can reach four figures yet because the football player is focussing on things outside of football right now. The Portuguese superstar shared his newest project on the video-sharing site so that he could connect with his fans all over the world more directly. He has already gained more than 15 million subscribers.

But even though his illustrious career is coming to an end, it would be typical of the legend—many people think he is the best player the game has ever seen—to play for another five years and score 1,000 goals.
