A 1-1 draw at Rayo Vallecano has delivered a blow to Real Madrid’s hopes of winning La Liga.
Carlo Ancelotti’s team had to settle for a stalemate in Vallecas because Los Blancos could not score a late winner.

.
With Dani Carvajal sent off for two late cautions in the closing minutes, Ancelotti’s team’s displeasure was evident.
The seasoned defender’s sending off will result in an immediate one-game suspension, and he will now miss the home match on February 25 against Sevilla.
.
But Ancelotti will face more problems than only Carvajal’s absence against the Andalucians, as Eduardo Camavinga will receive his fifth league caution of the year.
As a result, Ancelotti’s injury-plagued squad will need to make another roster change as the France international joins Carvajal on the sidelines.
At right back, Lucas Vazquez will continue to fill in for Carvajal, and Toni Kroos might come in to replace Camavinga in the Real Madrid midfield.
