Darwin Nunez went up against Pep Guardiola 🤔⚽

Darwin Nunez, a star for Liverpool, and Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, got into an argument after the game.

It happened following this afternoon’s 1-1 draw between the two dominant Premier League teams at the Etihad Stadium.

Premier League winners Erling Haaland gave them the lead in the first half, but Trent Alexander-Arnold’s late equalizer gave the Reds a point, making them regret their wasted opportunities.

Immediately after the full-time whistle, Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp were seen shaking hands following the draw.

Nunez, 24, then approached the City manager. It was obvious that he was upset about something as the two engaged in a heated conversation.

The reason behind the tense exchange between the two is yet unknown, but Klopp had to drag the Liverpool forward away from the Spaniard.

As the altercation unfolded, Peter Drury, who was providing commentary for the game, responded, saying, “It looks like some unpleasant words are being exchanged.”

Darwin Nunez and Pep Guardiola got into a heated argument. They required time apart.

Haaland gave City the lead in the first half, as was previously said. With this goal, he broke Andy Cole’s record by 17 games and became the first player to reach fifty Premier League goals in a single season.

With his well-executed league debut against the Reds, the Norwegian prodigy scored his fifty-first goal since joining Manchester City for £51 million in 2022. He has broken the long-standing record of 65 set by Manchester United striker Andy Cole by accomplishing this in just 48 league games.

Liverpool eventually pulled away from Man City as Trent Alexander-Arnold’s incredible strike guaranteed his team a point.

Even with the draw against Klopp’s team at home, City leads the league at the moment. With a victory over Brentford this evening, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal might take the lead.

Klopp’s team, Liverpool, is one point behind the champions and now sits in second place. The Merseyside team’s next league game is at Anfield against Fulham after they welcome LASK on Thursday.
