The second collaborative limited-edition product capsule collection between Converse and Liverpool FC will be available this month.
This new capsule collection combines the diversity and creativity of today’s global soccer fans with inspiration from Liverpool FC’s illustrious past.
The Fall Holiday 23 Liverpool FC x Converse line was inspired by the team’s colors, structures, and typefaces.
The first limited-edition capsule collection was inspired by the club’s devoted fan base. The second line of the Liverpool FC x Converse collaboration celebrates the team’s bright future and rich history while paying tribute to the club’s supporters and Anfield anthems.
In the associated campaign “Creating from the Ground Up,” Converse provided a forum for featured LFC fans to work with Converse in the creation of the advertisement, signaling the change from inspiration to action.
.
Vice President and General Manager of Converse Western Steven Bramble said, “Building on the success of the Liverpool FC x Converse partnership, we couldn’t be prouder to launch the FH23 collection and campaign, which celebrates the rich history of Liverpool FC, while bringing to the forefront the creativity of LFC fandom.”
“It is a natural evolution of ‘Creating from The Ground Up’ to include the creative work of LFC fans in the campaign; it truly does enable, celebrate, and support creativity in all its forms.”
“We are excited to present this second collection in collaboration with Converse,” Mike Cox, senior vice president of marketing for Liverpool FC, stated. Working with the brand has given us the chance to offer our followers something new and intriguing. Additionally, it’s a method for us to recognize and celebrate each fan’s individual ability.
The campaign features a wide range of musicians and ardent supporters of Liverpool, such as multi-disciplinary artist Dredz, singer/songwriter Pixey, and artist Sterling Rose Kelly, in addition to players from the men’s and women’s teams (Darwin Nunez, Taylor Hinds, and Missy Bo Kearns).
Sterling, Pixey, and Dredz have guided the campaign’s creative direction in collaboration with leaders from Homotopia, an LGBT+ arts and social justice group based in Liverpool, as well as a Converse social and community impact partner.
Converse will support Young Homotopia’s Creative Skills initiative through 2023. The theme of the advertising has been influenced by Homotopia artists and LFC supporters Olivia Graham, Margie Houlston, Sian Bennett, Kolade, and DJ Lauren Lo Sung.
This unique approach exemplifies the purpose of the Liverpool FC x Converse partnership, which is to bring together supporters who are striving to create a more diverse, open, and creative football community.
