Dallas Stars player Oladipo teamed up with David Alaba, a defender for Real Madrid.

Oladipo was born in the United States to Nigerian parents. He feels connected to his roots and makes Afrobeat music when he’s not on the court. Alaba was born in Austria to Nigerian parents, just like Oladipo. This is why the two played together.

Oladipo posted on social media about how happy he was to have met Alaba.

In the caption, he thanked Alaba and showed off a Real Madrid jersey he got.

“Buroda Mi @davidalaba Alaba, who is proud of his Nigerian roots, recently gave President Bola Tinubu a Real Madrid jersey,” Oladipo said.

Oladipo was in style when the “Battle of the Real Jollof” took place at Nike’s offices in New York.

Nigeria and Ghana played a basketball game for bragging rights at the event.

Part of this celebration of migrant culture was a competitive basketball game, a test of how good jollof rice is, and the best Afrobeats and amapiano sounds.

The basketball game, which brought together famous people and basketball players for fun, showed how friendly the rivalry between Ghana and Nigeria is.

It happened after Oladipo joined forces with Odumodublvck, a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter, and Black Sherif, a Ghanaian singer and rapper.
