I’m glad David De Gea is back in Manchester. This afternoon he had lunch with Sergio Reguilon.

The two Spanish people got together in the city and ate at a dinner.

De Gea is back in Manchester after leaving the team at the end of last season when his deal ran out.

For 12 years, he was the Red Devils’ best player.

The free agent 32-year-old went back to England on Monday to take care of his £3.5 million home in Hale, Cheshire.

He was said to have spent the summer in Madrid with his wife Edurne and their two-year-old daughter Yanay.

Last night, De Gea was seen cheering on Manchester United’s women’s team as they tied 1-1 with Paris Saint-Germain at Leigh Sports Village.

He also met up with Reguilon this afternoon and posted a picture of the two of them on Instagram with the words “Good to see you amigo.”

Even though they have played together for Spain, De Gea and the left-back have never played together in a club game.

Some Manchester United fans want their old goalie Andre Onana to come back to Old Trafford because he has made some big mistakes recently and is under a lot of pressure.

Someone said: “De Gea’s really wanting that contract.”

“I hope Reguilon is begging him to come back,” said someone else.

Someone else joked, “He’s in Manchester more now than he was before.”

Reguilon has been hurt and is currently healing. Yesterday, he allegedly played in a secret friendly against Barnsley.

It is said that De Gea is not in a hurry to find a new team and will wait for the right chance.
