Ronald Araujo, a defender for Barcelona, thought he should have been given a penalty in El Clasico after he got into a fight with Aurelien Tchouameni.

The referee didn’t give Barcelona a penalty kick, which would have given the home team a chance to make it 2-0. Araujo thought that was the wrong call.”He pushes me back when I try to finish by going to the ball.” I can touch it at the near post if he doesn’t push me. “He stops me just as I’m about to jump,” he said.

It looks like a fine review to me. But the refs have to make that call. They are the ones that are there. Sad because it was a clear play that could have made the first half 2-0.

He also said that he was upset with the outcome and told his team to keep going.

“I want to win all the time; when I lose, I get angry.” I believe I played well, but playing against Vini is always tough; I believe he was the best player today in a one-on-one match.

“We lost for the first time this season, but we have to keep going.” We lost the first Clásico last year, but we won the whole thing. It’s time to clear our minds and move on.
