Jude Bellingham was given a red card for disobedience during Real Madrid’s thrilling 2-2 draw with Valencia, but Carlo Ancelotti has stood by him.
Bellingham’s winner was disqualified by referee Jesus Gil because he had blown the whistle to finish the contest.
Bellingham was then given a straight red card by him for something he shouted, and the Madrid players gathered around the match official.According to Carlo Ancelotti, “He didn’t insult the referee.” He showed deference. In English, he only stated, “It was a f***ing goal.”
In Mestella, the game ended in a furious, dramatic seven minutes later. After handing Valencia a penalty and then reconsidering after examining it pitchside, the referee then seemed to add an extra minute.

When Real Madrid won a corner with the clock at 98:13, that extra minute was up. However, Gil did not blow right away after Madrid took the kick; instead, he let play to continue long enough for Brahim to cross, right before Bellingham scored.
“It’s unprecedented,” Ancelotti declared after witnessing his team come back from a two-point disadvantage but lose all three points in the closing seconds.
“They just need to look at the table; we are where we want to be,” he stated in response to a question about whether the players will be able to settle down before their next games.
Girona may cut the deficit to four points if they defeat Mallorca on Sunday, but Real Madrid still holds the top spot. If Barcelona defeats Athletic Bilbao, they will fall behind by six points.
