DONE DEAL: Liverpool Complete £35m Deal for Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch ⚽🔴

The international player from Holland is anticipated to land in Merseyside on Thursday, with a medical exam set for Friday.

This week, Mail Sport reported that the 21-year-old and Jurgen Klopp’s team had reached an agreement on terms. Following his absence from Bayern Munich’s Thursday morning training session, it is now expected that he will complete the deal. The current conversations have been greatly aided by Jorg Schmadtke, the German sporting director for Liverpool who has a wealth of knowledge regarding the Bundesliga.

Last summer, Bayern outbid Manchester United for the services of the Holland international, signing him to a five-year contract for £21 million.

The former Ajax great, whose versatility gives the Reds a variety of alternatives in midfield, is reported to be a huge favorite of Klopp. The departure of several previous club veterans this summer has left the Reds in need of reinforcements.

While Fabinho joined Al-Ittahad in the Saudi Pro League, Jordan Henderson joined Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq. At the end of their contracts for the previous season, James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain all left the team.

Trevoh Chalabah is still the subject of ongoing negotiations between Bayern and Chelsea.

Chalobah, a former England international, has five years left on his current Stamford Bridge deal, but he hasn’t participated in a competitive game for the Blues yet this year.

Also anticipated is their pursuit of Fulham’s Joao Palhinha. While Marco Silva’s team is holding out for £70 million, the German titans’ original offer of £47 million was rejected. However, they are reported to be willing to go as high as £60 million.
