In the end of the first half of Egypt’s match against Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations on Thursday night, Mohamed Salah was taken off the field.
Due to an apparent injury, the forward was replaced in the 45th minute of the Group B match.

Shortly after, Mohammed Kudus gave Ghana the lead, but Omar Marmoush’s goal in the 69th minute pulled them back.
Kudus scored once again to swiftly put Ghana up again, but Mostafa Mohamed scored for Egypt to tie the score at 2-2.
Egypt now sits second in Group B with two points as a result of the outcome, ahead of their third and final match on Monday against Cape Verde.
