Mohamed Salah broke two records for most goals scored with his goal against Crystal Palace. Not only did he score the 200th goal in Liverpool history, but he also became the 11th player in the Premier League to reach 150 goals. His 11th league goal of the year came in Saturday’s match against Palace, where he scored his historic goal as Jurgen Klopp’s squad attempted to win and go up to the top of the standings.

Jean-Philippe Mateta’s penalty kick early in the second half caused Liverpool to lose at Selhurst Park. The Egyptian equalized the score in the 76th minute.
After Cody Gakpo crossed the ball, Curtis Jones headed it toward Salah, who ruthlessly deflected the ball past Nathaniel Clyne to score. Harvey Elliott would add one second to the duration.
He became just the sixth player in Liverpool history to reach 200 goals, joining Ian Rush, Roger Hunt, Gordon Hodgson, and Billy Liddell in that feat.Picture
Salah has scored 14 goals this season in all competitions; 11 of those goals came from 16 Premier League games.
He also joins an elite group of Premier League attackers by being the 11th player to achieve the 150-goal mark, having scored two goals for Chelsea.
Among them are former Liverpool stars Michael Owen and Robbie Fowler, as well as English footballers Jermaine Defoe, Frank Lampard, Andy Cole, Wayne Rooney, and Alan Shearer.
The two highest scorers in Premier League history, Harry Kane, and Salah are the only players currently playing who have scored at least 150 goals. Aguero and Henry are the biggest scorers.
Salah joined from AS Roma in the summer of 2017 and under Jurgen Klopp has become a phenomenon.

The 31-year-old scored 19 goals to help Liverpool win their first Premier League title in 2019β20 and was a vital part of the Reds’ successful Champions League run in 2018β19.
In the title match, he helped Liverpool defeat Tottenham Hotspur with five goals. In the second minute, he also netted a penalty kick, giving Klopp’s team the lead and a historic 2-0 triumph.
With a career-high 32 goals in a single league season during his first season back in the English top division, Salah won the first of his three Premier League golden boots.
He shared second position in 2018β19 with 22 goals, and third place in 2021β2022, with 23 goals.
