Eight golden balls sounds great! Lionel Messi was given 8 gold rings by Nike to celebrate each victory after defeating his opponents to win the world’s best player award

Messi has been given eight golden rings, one for each Ballon d’Or he has won.

The 36-year-old Argentinian star was named the winner for the record-setting eighth time at a fancy event in Paris on Monday.

The 14-karat gold rings were given to the Inter Miami forward by the well-known clothes company Adidas. The rings, which are said to be for sale, are from the different Ballon d’Or awards Messi has won. They wrote about important things that happened in Messi’s career. One has three stars to show that Argentina won the World Cup, and another has the number “91” to show that he scored the most goals in a single year.

When Adidas shared a picture, one of them showed Messi honoring NBA great Bill Russell. The picture of Messi with his hands over his face and the eight rings on his head is meant to look like a famous picture of Russell and Messi from 1996. Russell won 11 NBA titles.

The eight rings are made from 14-carat gold and are expected to be auctioned off for charity

People think this Argentine player is one of the best of all time. He beat out Manchester City’s Erling Haaland to win this year’s Ballon d’Or. Messi did really well again this year. He led his country to win at the World Cup in Qatar in December.

This season, he scored 32 goals in 55 games for PSG, which helped them win Ligue 1. After that, he went to the Major League Soccer to play for David Beckham’s team, Inter Miami.

At the Théâtre du Chatelet in Paris, Beckham gave him the coveted award, and the crowd cheered loudly.

“It’s nice to be here again to enjoy this moment,” he said. “To get my dream job and win the World Cup.”

Beckham said this about Messi: “It’s very special to say he’s a Miami player and he’s in our city.” Having a party with his family and friends will be his own thing.

We promise it will be a party like in Miami. We can definitely have a great party.

It was hard for the four-time winner to win first place. Third place went to Kylian Mbappe, fourth place went to Kevin De Bruyne.
