‘Eliminate stress’: Jude Bellingham is mobbed by fans at an Italian restaurant after going for walkabout with his parents near Three Lions training base

The England players thoroughly enjoyed their day off, during which they had the opportunity to spend quality time with their family.

Prior to England’s match against Switzerland, JUDE BELLINGHAM engaged in a leisurely activity by capturing images with fans.

Before their quarterfinal encounter on Saturday at Euro 2024, the Three Lions team was given a day of rest on Tuesday.

Bellingham, who saved England from a potentially devastating elimination in the last-16 match with a remarkable last-minute overhead kick, was spotted taking use of his time off by dining at an Italian restaurant in Erfurt with his mother Denise.

The distance separating the city from England’s training base at Blankenhain measures approximately 20 miles.

Following the sighting of the midfielder in the restaurant, supporters approached him to take photographs.

Prior to receiving assistance from the cops to enter a car, Bellingham also engaged in the act of signing autographs.Recordings saw Bellingham leaving the eatery, while fans were observed making desperate efforts to take pictures with the esteemed Real Madrid star.

The 21-year-old appeared relaxed as he paused to rest before preparing to compete against Switzerland.

Uefa is currently investigating Bellingham’s action following his goal against Slovakia, which is the reason for his decision to take a leave of absence.

Subsequently, he justified his conduct on social media in response to allegations of showing disrespect towards the opposing team’s bench.

“Bellingham explained on X that the gesture was an inside joke directed at some close friends who were present at the game.”

“I have great admiration for the way the Slovakia team performed tonight.”

Alongside the picture, he also included the ‘X,’ yawning, and handshake emojis.

Bellingham’s story is supported by footage that has now surfaced showing him making the gesture while celebrating Real Madrid’s victory last season.

Before Harry Kane scored the winning goal in extra time, he salvaged England’s match against Slovakia with an equaliser in stoppage time.

Additionally, the ex-Borussia Dortmund player was chosen man of the match.

After scoring in the Three Lions’ first triumph over Serbia, he was also given the honour.

In the meantime, Sun columnist Piers Morgan has defended Bellingham and offered an explanation for the possible motivation behind the gesture.
