These days, Mason Mount and Phil Foden have arrived in Monaco for the famous Formula One Grand Prix.
The England players were seen having fun in Monte Carlo before their hour-long practice session on the Circuit de Monaco on Friday.
After the Premier League game on Sunday afternoon, both players went over to see the main F1 event.
The Monaco Grand Prix is known for its glitz and glam. People from all over the world who are famous go to Monte Carlo to watch the F1 race.
It’s easy to see why football players like to go during the off-season: after the Formula One race, there are boat parties, fashion shows, and concerts.
Mount is known for being very picky about what he wears. He was seen getting to the Red Bull Racing Energy Station in Monaco by boat wearing a black and white checked shirt.
The 23-year-old Chelsea player walked up to his friends wearing a black and white pair of Converse and chunky sunglasses.
On the other hand, Foden looked less formal when he got to the Red Bull Racing Energy Station. He was wearing shorts and a t-shirt that matched.
Mount and Foden were seen taking pictures together while enjoying the sun before a one-hour practice on Friday.
Foden and his teammates on City were just named the 2021–2022 Premier League winners after a thrilling last day of the season on Sunday.
It only took one win for City to clinch the title, but they fell behind 2-0 to Aston Villa with 15 minutes left.
They did, however, score three goals in the last five minutes to win 3-2 and win Pep Guardiola’s fourth Premier League title.
At the same time, Chelsea came third in the 2021–22 season, which made Thomas Tuchel very sad.
Foden and Mount will continue to enjoy their off-season. In July, pre-season club training is set to begin.
The two men will enjoy seeing a famous F1 driver compete in Monaco on Sunday for bragging rights.
In Friday’s first practice, Charles Leclerc was the fastest driver, and Sergio Perez, a Mexican F1 driver, was in second place.
Hamilton came in 10th, and Russell, who was on the same team, was almost three-tenths faster and in eighth.
Max Verstappen, who is Hamilton’s biggest rival, came in fourth with a time of 1:14.712. Lando Norris then made a comeback with a time of 1:15.056.
Mick Schumacher and Valtteri Bottas, on the other hand, will need to get going quickly in the second practice to make up for their bad start.
